Wedding planning is a massive task for her shoulder.
And it’s an even more challenging feat when the decor is replaced by chunks of meat.
“I’m getting married in 12 days and today I had to pick up my guest book,” explained Tara Henderson, 29, a bride from Wichita Falls, Texas, in a trending TikTok post on Tuesday. “And when I opened [the mail]to my surprise, I didn’t
“But nothing could have prepared me for what I was about to discover,” she added ominously.
Instead of a decorative book in which loved ones would write their names during Henderson’s December. 14 “I do”, soon mrs. was stunned to find a tome titled “Shoulder Meat.”
“I got a picture book of people I don’t know with meat on their shoulders,” she said, sharing the stunning looks in the photos of the meat. “I don’t know these people.”
Clearly, the external anthology failed MEAT the expectations of the almost married.
But she’s not the first girl to have some unexpected beef on her big day.
An emotionally distraught bride recently cried in her $15,000 vegan wedding spa after carnivorous guests ordered 20 large pizzas for good luck as tasty alternatives to her plant-based bites.
And a fiancee-turned-wife was practically grilled by online detractors of her “tiered” wedding reception menu. The controversial food options reportedly offered choice meats and champagne for the wealthiest wedding guests and nibbles for those who wanted less.
The classist stunt was deemed “tacky” by cybercritics.
But when it came to Henderson’s post blunder, social media suggested she rolled with the odd punches.
“Hear me out,” wrote one amazed commenter, “use this as your guest book.”
“This would instantly be my most prized possession,” noted another
But Henderson says she has already spoken to the guestbook company about getting her legal package.
“I’ve contacted the place I ordered from and they will be sending my correct book,” the millennial said “before publicly apologizing to whoever received her wedding merchandise instead of returning their weird pages .
“If you had to take this, and you’d have my wedding guest book instead,” Henderson said as he perused the Shoulder Meat compendium. ”I’m sorry.”
